UK/EU/Asia/Australia/NZ UPDATE
almost 2 years ago – Tue, Jun 21, 2022 at 03:34:36 AM

Hello from convention central!

As we spend various weeks at conventions around the US we wanted to thank you all for your continued support if our game and most importantly, your pateince as these delays continue due to shipping issues and COVID.

We’ve just heard from our fulfillment partners. Backers in the UK and EU could start seeing their orders arrive as soon as the end of July.

As port space opens up slowly, were hopeful the Australian and New Zeland orders can be fulfilled by the end of August.

Our orders for Asia are still on hold as were dealing with customs issues we hope to resolve in the new month or so.

We hope everyone is enjoying season 3 of the show.

Stay tuned, as we’re hoping to share more updates about the game and an expansion weve been developing.

The BOYS: This Is Going To Hurt Shipping Begins In The US!
almost 2 years ago – Wed, Apr 27, 2022 at 11:38:48 AM

Hello backers!

We’ve got some big shipping news today!

First the great:

US shipping has begun! The games safely arrived to our fulfillment partner, Bridge! Everything looks amazing and they’ve been very communicative and helpful in prepping orders!

CHECK IT OUT!!

NOTE FOR ALL BACKERS:

There are still a large number of you who have not filled out your backerkit information despite all of our attempts to find you. If you see this update, could you please double-check that you have completed everything necessary to receive your game. We REALLY want you to get your copy as soon as possible, please check and reach out if you have questions.

Now the other news:

While copies were able to leave China for the US, our scheduled shipments to the rest of the globe were not able to go out before the factory was shutdown due to COVID.

We’re very disappointed to deliver this news, but if you’ve been following along you may already know that this latest shutdown was a surprise to most of us in the industry and it is currently creating a serious backup in the region.

We will continue to update you as we have news. It’s certainly been a challenging route to get this project done and apparently there’s a few more challenges left, but we know you’ll appreciate the final project when it reaches you!

Thank you all once again for helping make this a reality! We’re excited to see photos of games in happy backers hands in the coming weeks!

And once again, PLEASE double-check that you’ve filled out everything you needed to to receive your game!

Thanks!

WE’RE ON A BOAT (WE’RE ON A BOAT)
about 2 years ago – Tue, Mar 01, 2022 at 05:32:27 AM

“Everybody look at me, ‘cause I’m sailing on a boat,” well the games, miniatures and extra goodies are.

It’s officially official! We’ve just received word from FedEx international that our first production run has been loaded onto our cargo ship and has left the port in China headed to our distribution center in Georgia.

We're on a boat!

We want to thank everyone again for your patience as we navigated the global pandemic, natural disasters and everything else that’s been thrown our way. We are grateful to have you all on this journey and we can’t wait for you to get your copies and tell us all about your epic battles against Homelander.

The current timeline has the products arriving at our distribution center in early April where we’ll do our best to get orders filled and shipped out as soon as possible.

We need a bigger boat
over 2 years ago – Fri, Jan 21, 2022 at 10:58:27 PM

Hello family and fans and welcome to the first update of 2022.

First of all we hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and that the New Year is treating you far better than the last. We have some amazing stuff lined up for 2022 that we think you’re all going to enjoy.

But, we also have some not so great news. As you all probably know, the global shipping industry has been increasingly difficult to navigate and far more expensive. While we have secured a shipping route, there simply wasn’t enough containers or boats to put ours on the water.

Although shipping prices are at an all-time high, we will not be raising costs for any of you at this time nor do we intend to charge additional fees.

We were hopeful the games and miniatures could be loaded onto a boat before the upcoming Chinese New Year. Alas, it wasn’t in the cards.

The plan currently, is to have all the products boarded onto a ship in February, arrive at our distribution center in early April.

Your patience and continued support of this amazing game is appreciated far more than you know.

The design team is currently working on additional projects, some related to The Boys, others are entirely new IPs. Stay tuned for updates on those as well.

Thank you,

1First Games

An advance copy patiently awaits its friends.

Manufacturing update and more pics from the road as we attended C2E2!
over 2 years ago – Tue, Dec 14, 2021 at 07:34:50 PM

Fun & Games:

Hello friends and fans! We hope you all had a fantastic weekend, we know we did at C2E2.

Phenomenal cosplay, game play and an appearance from the creator himself, Garth Ennis is always a recipe for a great time.

Garth, who finally got to play our game in person, was thrilled with what we built, the greatest of compliments.

"You all nailed the bullseye," Ennis said.

It's hard to put into words what his and Darrick Robertson's approval of our work means.

Serious Business:

In extra bonus good news, final production is complete!

We’ve just gotten word from the factory that the games are being readied for transport!

If you haven’t heard this from other publishers you may be supporting, freight rates right now are the worst they’ve ever been. Container space that used to cost $1500 can now cost close to $30,000! That’s an increase of 15 TIMES what was expected when this project began!

While we’re anxious to get you the game, we want to make reasonable business decisions, so we are in current negotiations with freight specialists to help us find space on boats at pricing that’s close to affordable, though still far higher than what it used to be.

We’ll be back very quickly to provide you with the partners we select and the boats the games are on!

Thank you all again for your support of this fantastic game.
